Can you imagine if every house in America had solar panels on it? Can you imagine what would happen if all those houses were patched into "the grid"? Now imagine if all cars were electric cars and you could feed the grid with solar on every house and plug your car into the garage at night?

YES! it is posssible! All the technology exists and all the methodology exists. Even the tax incentives exist. So why is this not happening? Offer your thoughts/facts to flesh this out!
